About The Role

Senior Support Worker – Tegfan, Swansea - £13.75 to £14.20 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience) - Full time – 45.5 hours per week

A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker includes:

  • Leading shifts and supporting the team
  • Maintaining high standards across the service
  • Supporting reporting and evidence‑gathering
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external professionals
  • Contributing to assessments and care/support plan development
  • Promoting and celebrating the home’s achievements

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience in a support or care environment
  • A full driving licence
  • QCF Level 3 (or working towards it)
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations
  • The ability to lead by example and act as a positive role model
  • Commitment to upholding company policies and standards
  • Strong safeguarding awareness
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and risk assessments

Please note: This role currently involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check. Requirements may change as the service transitions to adult support by 2027.
