As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support teachers to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, helping them develop social and academic skills.

Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through patience, empathy, and encouragement.

Assist with personal care routines where required, ensuring every child’s comfort and dignity.

Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support each pupil’s individual progress.

Help organise and take part in creative, hands-on learning activities — both in and out of the classroom.
We’re looking for someone who:

Has a caring, compassionate attitude and a genuine passion for helping children.

Brings energy, patience, and a positive approach to every day.

Is adaptable, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Holds GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
-
Ideally has experience working with children with additional learning needs (though full training is provided).
