As a Trainee Deputy Manager, you play a crucial role in managing your team and ensuring smooth operations. Your primary objective is to maintain high-quality service through person-centred care plans tailored to each individual’s needs. You provide guidance and support to your team, fostering a positive environment where staff can reach their full potential. Acting as a mentor, you offer ongoing feedback and opportunities for growth, empowering your team to deliver exceptional care. Additionally, you serve as a liaison between your team and management, effectively communicating needs and collaborating on policy implementation to uphold service standards.
About Rosendale:
Located in Lydstep with stunning sea and hill views, Rosendale offers a calm, supportive home for up to six adults aged 18 and over. Residents also enjoy access to facilities at Orbis' Bangeston Hall, including gardens, a polytunnel, smallholding, art and music rooms, and more.

Responsibilities:
- To lead the staff team in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager, acting on their behalf.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff within the service, providing both informal and formal support.
- Assist the Home Manager in overall staff team management and development, including supervision sessions, return-to-work processes, interviews, and recruitment.
- Participate in senior and full staff meetings, occasionally chairing them when appropriate.
- Ensure that all staff are familiar with company policies and procedures.
- Assist the Home Manager in developing and implementing a quality management approach within the service.
- Promote the service's aims in the community and maintain positive community relations alongside other senior staff.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a Senior Support Worker role.
- NVQ/ QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care & PBS level 3.
- A passion for working with individuals with complex needs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A driving license is essential, unfortunately those without a driving license cannot be considered.
